Most of them drive under the influence after drinking alcohol in pubs, bars or clubs. The main dilemma was how to get these guys with a very low budget. Because it’s nearly impossible to drink while out without going to the toilet, the urinals in the men’s bathroom were transformed in an active reminder of the reduced ability to drive when being drunk. It was an ad for a 9-ball competition, and featured both a poster and a special urinal deodorizer that was designed to resemble a pool ball. There was also a panel located on the top of the urinal that encouraged people to "practice their shot" while using the toilet. The campaign is a simple yet effective campaign that instantly catches a person's attention and will help them to recall the ad and its details. In the article, Advertising Age also stated that based off of these facts there is also a greater chance that consumers will not only see the ad but also remember it during the night and afterwards. The mirror has a motion detector that senses when someone is in front of the mirror, and signals the ad to start. Writing in red lipstick appears on the mirror with ambiguous, flirtatious sayings that leave people wanting to know more. The lines that are used in the ad, such as "we were made for each other" and "my body is absolutely stunning," imply that it's a person on the other end but is really the BMW speaking. The ad then prompts the person to text to receive pictures of the subject leaving the love notes. The ad features an interactive sticker over a soap dispenser in toilets that features the phrase "Got Flu?". It features a congested person's nose, and was placed to remind people that Kleenex tissue is a great way to battle the awful congestion that comes with territory of the flu. This is a prime example of how a simple ad can quickly become interactive with someone, and in turn will be something that they will remember after leaving the washroom. It was an ad for ESPN in Brazil, and featured a message above the urinal that said, "Football is good everywhere, but it is much better on ESPN channels." It's an ad featured in washrooms that promotes Earth Hour, which was an initiative urging people to not use any electricity for an hour to promote a reduction in energy consumption. The ad gives a visual illusion to people using the toilets that definitely makes an impact. When looking from a distance, the image within the frame is the skyline of Toronto. But when you get closer to the image, the lights in the city disappear and a message promoting Earth Hour appears. This is a brilliant example of how you can make a bold and unique statement from a frame in a washroom.
